4 Simple Dishes Made For Culinary Newcomers

By Bob Oliver

You may have the urge to prepare a number of dishes but you have to keep in mind that certain degrees of knowledge have to be put into place as well. It's clear that there are those who will learn from various campuses in order to become more proficient at cooking. However, in order to get started in the culinary realm, there are simpler dishes that can be created. If you would like to know more, here are 4 easy dishes that even the most inexperienced of cooks will be able to manage.

1. Hamburgers. While perhaps not the most elegant dish to prepare, the truth of the matter is that this is ideal for those who want to cook but do not feel comfortable about tackling other recipes. Grilling a burger is easy enough; it just takes a certain amount of patience and care in order for it to be cooked to order. Throw in a number of different condiments if you so choose and you have one dish prepared that is made with relative ease.

2. If you are a beginner who may not be totally ready to work with heat, salad is optimal. There are a number of ingredients that can be brought into effect but you may be curious as to which ones are the best in this regard. You are going to want to turn to organic food, as vegetables in particular are the more prominent ingredients. As long as you have these - in addition to olive oil or any other type of dressing - you will have a salad that will be very much favorable.

3. Contrary to what you might believe, omelets are actually surprisingly easy to prepare. They can be made in a matter of minutes, it seems, and the ingredients can come together well in order to produce the best possible results. One of the ideas to consider about this dish is that it can be as basic or complex as the chef preparing it would like it to be. For example, as good as a standard cheese omelet might be, there are those who might want to incorporate more in the way of vegetables, ham, or what have you.

4. Fried rice. If you'd like something a little more international but do not want to spend hours upon hours in the kitchen, fried rice is ideal. With the use of a frying pan along with oil, you will be able to create a rice dish that can incorporate different types of vegetables, carrots and celery included. It's recommended that soy sauce is added for an extra kick of flavor but oyster sauce can be chosen for fewer carbs and less sodium. Regardless of your preferences, this is yet another dish that can be easily created.
