The salary is determined by the years of experience of an individual in this field. A nurse who has a notable number of years with the occupation is most likely to be receiving better pay since the salary is mostly increased as years elapse. Increased expertise and knowledge in the field over the years also contribute to pay rise.

The location in which the service is availed is also a salary determinant. Working in your home town means that you can easily access the facility you are working for unlike when working at a new region or a foreign land. The industry a nurse is offering their services to will determine the amount of pay they receive. The task involved while working on a referral hospital cannot be compared to while working at a clinic. A hospital requires a lot of attention due to the number of cases it handles in a day increasing the work load. A clinic on the other hand is expected to handle fewer cases depending on size.

The time of offering the anesthetist services in a given duration will also determine the salary. Working on extra hours calls in for overtime payment. A facility may also have a small number of nurses compared to the number of patients it receives making them to work in odd hours to fully handle this number. It is there right to have an increment in their salaries to cater for these odd hours.

Specialization in more than one area in this field is allowed. A nurse may offer their service in the anesthetist department and also be involved in another one completely different from the major one. They can therefore be called up in case such a service is required and they are on vacation. Such an individual qualifies to be called a double earner as they get paid for both.

Organizations involved in hiring the services of these nurses are a factor that determines the nature of their pay slips. Some organizations are global and are known to operate on a notable budget. The employees working under such enjoy good pay. On the other side, working of small or struggling organizations means that the pay will be less.
